COVID-19 Update

Reopening
Willie Ross School for the Deaf will reopen for regular business on July 1, 2020.  Our regular hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 
We require that visitors wear masks, maintain social distance, and use the hand sanitizers provided throughout our facilities.

Teachers of the Deaf

Join our dedicated staff in a program committed to providing excellence in education, one child at a time.

Full-time classroom position and Outreach position available.

Candidates:

  • must possess or be eligible for MA Teacher of the Deaf Licensure
  • must have fluent sign language skills and be comfortable using a total communication approach
  • should have experience with differentiated instruction and assessment
  • should demonstrate competency with required to the special education processes and documentation (IEP's, Progress Reports etc...)

Salary will be based on degree(s) and experience.
