A very important friend in preschool has something to say!

Don't look now, but the Incredible Hulk paid a visit to our preschool! He was very gentle during his visit! 😁

Friends in Elementary II were learning about math using interlocking linking cubes! And then they linked a bunch of the cubes and measured their height against the stack!

Friends in Longmeadow Campus middle school were testing home made (school made?) race cars!
We have some future Lindsay Brewers and Dale Earnhardt, Jr's up here!
Students built some simple cars using everyday things: straw, cardboard, and bottle caps. They then used a ramp to measure how fast the cars reached the bottom of the ramp. One student wrapped the ramp in aluminum foil.

Our Longmeadow Campus middle schoolers played ping pong during PE!

Our friends at Mountain View Elementary were working very hard on their measurement assignments!

In December, our Elementary II friends had a brain break! They got on scooter boards and were loving being chased around by a little grinch robot!

Our Longmeadow campus middle schoolers got together and practiced positivity with one another! We love to see it! Sarah and Sean have been doing a wonderful job! Kudos! 😁🤟

Our friends at @reminderpublishing recently held a "Design an Ad" student contest! Our student Lucas won first place! 🙌📣 We are all so, so proud of Lucas! Way to go!!
As part of Lucas' award, he won 4 tickets to a Thunderbirds game, received a copy of the Reminder and a certificate!

This past Thursday, our basketball team had their second game against @asd1817 ! ASD won 16-12. It was a very exciting game!
We have one more game against The Learning Center next month and we will wrap up this basketball season with the much-anticipated Students vs Staff game! Stay tuned!

Rye's Elementary III class recently had a presentation called Rescue Day!
A variety of animals and dinosaurs were stranded on a big boat in the middle of the ocean. Rye's students had to devise tools and machines to retrieve the stranded animals and relocate them safely!
Fynnlee started with a vertical flying machine with a bridge and rest area at the foot of the flying machine.
Brandon described his machine. It had propellers and an American flag. There was space for the rescued animals to eat and rest.
Next was Eilanis, who shared an egg carton boat adorned with lots of beautiful, vibrant feathers.
Abdul then shared his smaller, covered boat with an American flag.
Carmen shared her boat decorated with fuzzy puff balls and a sail.
Maxim shared his last. It was an egg carton boat with colorful sails. It had both an American and Moldovan flag.
We're proud of our friends for showing ingenuity when tasked with rescuing animals in the middle of an ocean! Wonderful job, friends!
On Thursday afternoon, our students had their first basketball game of the season! Their opponents were our friends at @asd1817 ! ASD won 22-12!

Last week, our friends at our Birchland Park Middle School site enjoyed a ROARS party with games and laughter! They played great games like Hedbanz, Scattergories, Jenga, Sorry!, Bananagrams, Would You Rather, and Taboo!
